Once upon a time
there was a teacher
in my family.
He said,
"One god,
one religion,
one caste,
For mankind."
(He used G,
mine prefers g.)
He continued,
"Everyone follows
the same (good) principles."
He also said,
"No two people
Have
the same god."
(Go figure!)
Oh!
We kicked him out,
(and every teacher!)
cast him in stone,
forgot what he said.
We prefer to be
A rudderless boat,
(in a relative sense)
Shouting out
Our religion and caste,
Anything
To bring in the moolah.
(Even the atheists
Amongst us
Do so!)
