The still-alive uncle and aunt, cousins, the NextGen, some nationalists, some anti-nationals, most in-betweeners were there. There was such love.
One cousin (a nationalist) wanted us to give land for his business.
Another (sitting on the border post) wanted a huge unsecured loan from us, a sure NPA.
We looked around, smiled and hugged, couldn't find one idiot to give us the land or the money to give to others.
It was such a lovely Indian gathering, all smiles and hugs.
