"Come in."

"Thank you."

"The bedroom is to your left. The kitchen to your right."

I go to the bedroom. Undress. She hands over an apron. I wear just that. I go to the kitchen and cook.

We have dinner. At two tables. Candle-light.

I remove the apron after washing the dishes. 

She's waiting in the bedroom. I pick up an envelope on the dresser.

"Count."

I do that.

"Enough?"

"Yes."

"Come here."
