My life would have been so much better if I had realized that:
1. Others think I am an idiot;
2. Lovers and friends can't understand what I say in those rare instances when they are interested in what I say; and,
3. Heads of state, elected representatives and government are not as powerful as the local chieftain (eg, residents association bigwig).
