Woke up with her beside me,
Hid my face in her hair,
And pretended to sneeze,
She laughed and warned,
"As long as you stay #distant
From your well-rehearsed act."
I struggled to live in the now,
To let the unmentionable happen,
She slipped away from the I I am not.
